Emily is Away is an indie visual novel video game developed and published by Kyle Seeley. The game was followed up by a sequel, Emily is Away Too, in 2017.

Reminiscent of early 2000's technology, the game follows the player (who takes on a screen name and profile picture) who connects with their high school friend, Emily, in a chat room. Over the course of five years set in five individual chapters, the player and Emily begin to bond and question both their pasts and their futures. Depending on what choices the player selects will affect their relationship later on in the story.
