Maere: When Lights Die is a survival horror video game as well as a game for virtual reality developed and published by Lucid Dreams.

Maere focuses on the player who explores a maze of corridors only to be hunted down by a monster known as Le Mange Lumière. The player can only walk in the opposite direction of him; if they hear whispers of the monster's name they have to continue walking. The one whose saying these whispers is a girl who does no harm but guides the player, except her teleports may cause jump scares.
